The film tells about a story of war-torn Algeria in the 1990s. Two women are searching for the younger woman’s husband, journalist. The younger woman isa a doctor and other is a nurse. They represent anachronisms in Islamist Algeria. In their journey with vivid memories of Algeria 's fight for independence, challenge the men they encounter to accept them and help them with their search.
Djamila Sahraoui was born in Algeria in 1950. After studying literature in Algeria , she studied filmmaking at IDHEC in Paris . Her early short films include Houria (1980), Avoir 2000 ans dans les Aurès (1990) and Prénom Marianne (1992). Enough! is her first feature film.
