Kenji is a mysterious librarian with the Japan Foundation in Bangkok. Living in an obsessively neat apartment full of precise stacks of books, he is convinced that death will be a pleasant nap between lives, but finds his half-hearted attempts to kill himself continually interrupted by the people around him. His life completely changes when he witnesses the death of Nid seconds before he was about to jump off a bridge.
