Water – IFFK signature film

The signature film of the 14 th edition of IFFK has created by short film maker Sanju Surendran. Its duration is 30 seconds.

This year Academy didn't given contract directly for the signature film production. Instead, an advertisement was given in the newspapers of invite applications. Nearly 14 entries have posted into the Academy. Technical committee appointed by IFFK analyzing the synopsis and selected Sanju’s work.

He is film graduate from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). He directed documentaries that Vinashathilekkoru Vazhi and Theeram. Theeram selected for the Karachi International Film Festival 2009.
